The concluding episodes tell of Sita calling upon the Earth to witness her purity and returning to her mother Earth. Rama continues to fulfill royal duty before his own earthly journey ends. Versions of the Ramayana differ in wording, emphasis and which portions they include; this retelling follows the broad seven-kanda storyline without claiming to reproduce any complete sacred manuscript.

The episode invites readers to consider duty, compassion and the consequences of choices. Continue through the kand in order to follow the story from its beginning to its conclusion.
